ZoyeMed compared with AI health kiosks and health ATMs
If you are evaluating AI health kiosks, health ATMs, telemedicine kiosks or AI doctor kiosks for a hospital network, pharmacy chain or ministry programme, ZoyeMed will appear on the same shortlist. The difference is scope: a kiosk measures a few vitals and connects to a video doctor; ZoyeMed completes the primary-care episode with a laboratory, on-device AI and a clinician's signature.

| Capability | Typical health kiosk or health ATM | Telemedicine kiosk | ZoyeMed 3.0 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Direct measurement | 3 to 8 vitals | Vitals plus a camera | 120+ modalities including a point-of-care laboratory |
| Laboratory tests on site | Glucose strip at most | None | Biochemistry, haematology, immunofluorescence, urinalysis, AI-read rapid kits |
| Examination instruments | None | Sometimes a stethoscope or otoscope | 12-lead ECG, digital stethoscope, spirometer, dermatoscope, oto-rhinoscope, thermal imaging, fetal Doppler |
| Where the AI runs | Cloud, if any | Cloud | On the terminal; Resilience Edition needs no connection at any stage |
| Data quality gate | No | No | Inference is refused when inputs are insufficient or inconsistent |
| Patient memory | Per visit | Per session | Longitudinal trajectory across every encounter |
| Clinician governance | Optional | Doctor on the call | Mandatory sign-off; autonomous prescribing prohibited by architecture |
| Interoperability | Rare | Varies | FHIR R4, HL7 v2, DICOM; ICD-10/11, SNOMED CT, LOINC, RxNorm |
| Regulatory footing | Wellness device | Software only | Certified device and IVD modules; decision-support software licensed as Class B Software as a Medical Device under India's CDSCO framework |
| Commercial model | Single units | Single units | Institutional fleets from 25 units |
Kiosk and telemedicine-kiosk columns describe the typical product in each category, not any single vendor. The thirteen-platform, seven-axis comparison with named platforms is in the technical white paper, available to institutional reviewers on verified corporate email. Request the technical white paper.
When a kiosk is the right answer
Walk-in screening in a mall, a gym or a corporate lobby, where the goal is a blood-pressure reading and a nudge to see a doctor, is well served by a health kiosk at a fraction of the footprint and cost. ZoyeMed is not a consumer product and is not sold as single units.
When it is not
When the site has no physician and the patient needs a complete encounter: history, examination, laboratory tests, a differential, and a decision a clinician will sign. When connectivity is unreliable. When the programme needs population intelligence derived from measured data rather than survey self-report. When the regulator will ask how the device, the software and the clinician each take responsibility.
Moving from a health-ATM programme to full primary care
Programmes that have piloted health ATMs or screening kiosks can move to full primary-care episodes with laboratory diagnostics on a similar footprint, with FHIR R4 output into the national health information system and operator training included.
